Maryland Route 314
Maryland Route 314 (MD 314) is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. The state highway runs from the beginning of state maintenance along Sunset Avenue in Greensboro, Maryland, Greensboro east to the Delaware state line in Whiteleysburg, Maryland, Whiteleysburg, where the highway continues east as Delaware Route 12 (DE 12). What is now MD 314 was paved in Greensboro in the 1910s. The remainder of the state highway to Whiteleysburg was constructed in the late 1920s. MD 314 west of Maryland Route 480, MD 480 was originally MD 315. When Maryland Route 313, MD 313 bypassed Greensboro in 1950, MD 314 was extended west to its present terminus. Route description MD 314 begins in the town of Greensboro at a former railroad crossing with an unused railroad grade owned by the Maryland Department of Transportation between Cosden Street and Granby Street.
